A miss\u00e3o \u00e9 fruto de um esfor\u00e7o colaborativo com a ag\u00eancia espacial italiana ASI e outras 12 entidades internacionais.<\/p>\n<p>O objetivo da IXPE \u00e9 observar a polariza\u00e7\u00e3o de raios-x em supernovas, buracos-negros super massivos e objetos com alta emiss\u00e3o de energia espalhados pelo universo.<\/p>\n<p>O lan\u00e7amento foi realizado a partir do Centro Espacial Kennedy, no estado da Fl\u00f3rida, nos Estados Unidos. \u201cJuntamente com nossos parceiros na It\u00e1lia e no mundo, adicionamos um novo observat\u00f3rio \u00e0 nossa frota que moldar\u00e1 nosso entendimento do universo nos pr\u00f3ximos anos. Casa aeronave da Nasa \u00e9 cuidadosamente escolhida para observa\u00e7\u00f5es que permitir\u00e3o novas ci\u00eancias, e a IXPE nos mostrar\u00e1 o universo violento ao nosso redor como nunca pudemos ver\u201d, afirmou Thomas Zurbuchen, administrador do diret\u00f3rio de Miss\u00f5es Cient\u00edficas da Nasa.<\/p>\n<p>O foguete Falcon 9, da SpaceX, foi respons\u00e1vel por colocar a IXPE em \u00f3rbita. O m\u00f3dulo carrega tr\u00eas telesc\u00f3pios especiais com detectores polarim\u00e9tricos &#8211; propriedade que permite identificar detalhes no espectro de luz que podem revelar a origem da emiss\u00e3o eletromagn\u00e9tica.
